OVERVIEW An associated capability with the analysis of semiconductor applications is the design of selected tests and special processing to assure reliable performance of critical parameters. This is especially necessary where successful equipment function is directly dependent upon certain key parameters in a challenging operating environment. The technical specialists on staff at DD & S can design and manage special testing protocol and/or special processing procedures for implementation by qualified third parties. Of equal importance to the design of such testing and processing is the management and control of its implementation. Over several years of managing component engineering programs for high-reliability applications, the staff at DD & S has evolved a select group of firms that provide such services.
